WHY LAUNCH ONLY THE GOOD NOTES? It’s simple. We want to inspire others the way we’ve been inspired to live a life full of good notes.
WHAT IS ONLY THE GOOD NOTES? This blog is about our life; our adventures. It will chronicle the journey of our relationship, distance running, travel, time + experiences with family, and our experiments with food + wine. Come along for the ride!
Here’s how we picked the name.
TODD + STEPHANIE We’re a 40-something couple who met in a rather unexpected way (ever heard of a little thing called Twitter?
) when neither of us were “looking,” and now, here we are, engaged to be married and building our dream life together!
We have a daughter named Addison Love who will forever grow in our hearts, but not in our arms.
We have many interests in common including distance running, dog rescue + rehabilitation, movies, blogging, cooking, food + wine, and travel.
We have a Golden Retriever puppy named Shiloh, and we are both
entrepreneurs. We work out of our home, literally sitting across from one-another at the dining room table when we’re not at a neighborhood restaurant or coffee shop.
Stephanie is gluten-intolerant, and Todd has discovered that he feels much better when he removes it from his diet, so you will find that our food experiences center around gluten-free recipes* + restaurants.
Coincidentally, we are both graduates of the fabulous Florida State University…Go ‘Noles!
DISTANCE RUNNING We were training for our fourth half-marathon together when we found out that we were pregnant with Addison in June, 2011, and were due on February 9, 2012. Our next planned race was in Outer Banks, NC, in November, 2011. We tabled those plans while trying to heal both physically and emotionally from the devastating loss of our baby girl, and we have recently resumed training for a half-marathon in Seaside, FL, on March 4, 2012.
Our ultimate distance running goal? To run a distance race in all 50 states.
*the recipes we share here will always be gluten-free!
