There is apparently going to be another shower-slash-bachelorette party weekend thing at a location that is going to be a surprise to me.
Cannot. wait.
What a fun year!

I took a photo of the front of one of our notecards (they are foldover) with my iPhone, and for some reason between iPhone 4S editing and Picasa I’m having a heck of a time getting the colors to look right online.
They are much prettier than this…I’m really in to grey and yellow right now, and that’s what they look like in real life. Very pretty.
It’s so hard to believe that today is the day that our baby Addison was due to arrive.
We have a quiet celebration of her short little life planned for this evening.
It is with a heavy heart that I let you know that Shiloh’s sister, Belle, was found on the side of the road – about 6 miles from Nina’s house – last night.
Nina got a call from someone who had seen one of her flyers letting her know that she had seen a puppy on the side of the road.
Horrified, Nina fled to the scene, to find that it was in fact, Belle.
We are ALL absolutely brokenhearted over the loss of sweet Belle. Thank you so much to all of you who helped and supported us in our efforts to find her.
Shiloh’s littermate (sister), Belle, was STOLEN out of her own home last night while her owner, Nina Hayes, was at work.
Belle, f/k/a “pink” is a six-month-old (as of tomorrow) female Golden Retriever puppy. She is copper-colored, super sweet, and very much loved by her owner and extended family.
We are absolutely devastated for Belle and her owner, Nina.
PLEASE help us spread the word and get Belle back to her home with Nina!
Addison’s due date is fast approaching, and we are planning to celebrate.
We will celebrate Addison’s short, sweet little life this February 9th and each year going forward. She was and will always be a major, important part of our lives – even though she was with us for much too short a time – and she will never be forgotten.
We have the evening blocked out, and one thing I do know is that we will celebrate her life privately and quietly…just within our little family…just the way we would have if she were physically here with us, in our arms.
We will, each year, have a special cake in her honor. We might will most likely even sing Happy Birthday to her.
We will always love, celebrate, and remember Addison. We hope you will too!
THIS is where we’re headed for four days and three nights and we cannot wait! We made sure to find a place in the North Georgia mountains that is pet-friendly so of course we are bringing our baby girl Shiloh.
We plan to spend our time in the kitchen cooking up a storm, drinking wine, snuggling up by the fire(s) watching holiday movies…enjoying the spa…relaxing on the decks and enjoying the views…and maybe going on a few mountain hikes.
Now we’re just counting the days!
